Competent, caring vets

My cat is dead now, despite my constant requests for my cat to be seen by two particular vet doctors in this clinic that specialized in cats. I have said it enough times that i'm aware that it was in my cat's chart. Despite ALL the request I have made for a cat only vet for some reason, they did not give me the exact same vet doctor that I have been seeing this entire time. Aside from once. My number one complaint and worry was about her bladder and her kidneys and the fact that she was missing the litter box....this dog doctor did absolutely nothing to check her kidneys, Except for a blood test, he didn't take a urinary sample, He didn't catheterize her. He did absolutely nothing, and I had to put her to sleep because this cat was not doing well. She was peeing everywhere and it could have been a treatable thing But because the vet here did absolutely nothing to check her urine, I ended up having to put her down because I didn't have money to keep taking her back to a vet that seemed crooked. I am very unhappy and I will likely be looking for another vet if I ever get another pet again but if i'm being honest, this experience has made me not want to get another pet because vets are so crooked. I was happy until my very last visit with my elderly cat. My request was extremely clear, "put me with the two particular female vets who specialize in cats see my elderly cat." This request has become so normal for me that it is in my cat's chart. I have said it every single time I've been there, to the point where it is on her paperwork. I know it is, and for some reason, despite all of this, the last time that I went in, my cat was seen by the dog vet, not the cat vet, and he did not check her over properly. And now she's dead. I will be returning my cat, food and likely asking for some of the money back that you guys charged me last time since you didn't actually do your job.

Dr. Dun is the BEST vet there is. He acts like he has all day to talk to you about your animal. He is so personable. We drive from Montrose to Grand Junction, because he is so good. We do not trust anyone else with our dogs.
